In 1975 Liz launched her first signature collection and by 1979 the collection was sold in over 300 boutiques and department stores throughout Australia, Singapore and New Zealand.
Within 4 years Australia’s most prestigious design awards proudly hung on the company’s walls.
During the 1980’s stand alone signature stores were opened in parallel to the wholesaling business: culminating in a flagship store on Bond Street in London.
Today the company consists of 14 stores carefully positioned in the highest profile fashion locations in the major capital cities of Australia.
Even after 35 years in business every garment that bares the Liz Davenport label is still meticulously designed and developed by Liz herself. The designs continue to encompass the original philosophies of “Creating garments for every facet of your lifestyle”
The brand is synonymous with colour and coordination and when research is conducted, as it often is, the words; Comfort, Versatility, Easy care, Flattering and Stylish are part of the signature.
